On February 11th, 1992, little Taylor Daniel Launtner was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a little boy Taylor's first love was karate-he started studying the material art when he was 6 years old. At the encouragement of Mike Chat, a martial arts instructor and former Power Rangers actor, a 7 year old Taylor auditioned for a national Burger King add. Though the talented tot didn't get it, he knew right then and there he wanted to act. That started a regular frequent-flier routine for the Launtner family-they flew from Michigan to Hollywood for various auditions for Taylor for years. Eventually they decided to move the family out west so that Taylor could really purse his career. Commercials and TV guests sports happened quickly after and then, in 2005, a 13-year-old Taylor landed a lead role in the movie, The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl 3-D Taylor was on his way!
